In this blog, I include an ongoing selection of favorites from my photo shoots, a sprinkling of snapshots from my daily inspirations, and pictures of places we've travelled in the hopes that the photographs inspire you, the text intrigues you and you keep coming back for more. :-)
Who am I? My name is Linda De Los Reyes, photographer, mother to twin 6-year-old girls, wife to a hi-tech executive (and my business partner), and our family’s historian, through stories and images.
Where am I? I am based in Silicon Valley, the south peninsula of the San Francisco Bay Area in Northern California. All of my sessions take place on location – homes, parks, beaches, malls, downtown areas – you name it.
My specialty? I photograph newborns, babies, children, kids and families but I particularly enjoy photographing newborns and children – capturing the wonder, the whimsy, the joy and everything else that makes babyhood so precious and childhood so special.
I have also done some commercial work and consider non-portraiture work project by project. So, don’t hesitate to contact me if you have a special project for which my photographic style would be well-suited.
Why work with me? Like many photographers, I have a great time working with children and families to elicit and capture those wonderful moments you'll want to save for a lifetime. Unlike many photographers, I will work very closely with you beyond the shoot to choose your favorite images from the many and help you visualize the best way to display those photos in your home to create a unique eye-catching, personal picture gallery.
