If you have children, you love parks. Or at least, your children do. And each park certainly has a different feel to it. From small parks with play structures as the center of attention to larger ones with myriad attractions like babbling creeks, colorful carousels, kid-size trains and paddle boats, parks tend to be my clients’ favorite destinations. As such, strolling through a park means lots of spontaneous moments when children’s impulses get the best of them…and give me infinite opportunities to capture a truly special time. So, I strolled with this gorgeous family through Oak Meadow/Vasona Park one Sunday morning and came upon a rather busy construction scene. We realized later that they were constructing buildings for the Halloween Goblin’s Glen attraction. How cool was that, I thought. We found a little corner that looked like part of a castle and moved on along the bike/walk path. There’s nothing like letting the kids react and explore on their own as we walked a small loop. Nature and kids. My favorite scene.
