Project 365 – February | Bay Area Childrens & Family Photographer

Remember that photo-a-day project I mentioned in a previous post? Well, I finished February and I’m still going strong into March. Whew! Each day is a challenge and an accomplishment to keep up with this. Throughout the month, though, I’m discovering new and different ways to attain the vision I have for an image. For example, take the images of flowers below. They have an almost watercolor-ish look to them – accomplished with a rather shallow depth of field and very short focal length with an extension tube. I’m thinking this will make a nice botanical series; perfect for one of the walls in my home. I can just imagine how much they will look like a painting when mounted onto a canvas gallery wrap.

And these are all the images from the month of February.

More to come…stay tuned….
